Since my mom and sister have been on a facebook kick of finding peeps we knew in Ohio, I had to join in on the fun. I left Ohio when I was seven, so my friends and memories are limited, but of course very fond. Those were the days of cabbage patch kids, pop beads, babysitter club books and rubber bracelets. My best friend lived across the street, and was a year older and also went to catholic school, but man I thought she was the coolest. We took dance together, and her mom would take us shopping in downtown Columbus and buy us each some pop beads to add to our necklaces.

Then of course, who can forget their first boyfriend? He lived down the street and we'd play He-Man and She-Ra together. He was the class hotty, I specifically remember one day in first grade, when I was wearing my brand new pink, purple, and aqua mini skirt, and my sister had done my hair in a side french braid. I was thinking I was pretty hot that day, and then he told me I was cute and looked really nice. I melted right on the spot. And apparently he also gave me Scarlett Fever. I remember getting it, but didn't remember how. My mom just informed me...
