Mmmm, a bee!

As I was busy in the garage painting my piano, I hear, "Mmmmm, a bee!" I look over and it looks like Calvin is eating something. So I walk over to him, and ask what he is eating, but he doesn't respond, I just notice some black wiggly legs hanging out of his mouth. I immediately start screaming, that's all I'm capable of doing when encountering, insects, reptiles and rodents (mouse in the pool story). And of course I am unable to touch it, so I use the dirty paint rag in my hand to wipe the insect from his mouth, only it wasn't a bee, but a big black beetle still alive and moving. Sick, sick, sick. I'm still not recovering!

I know how you feel, both Aspen and Liberty were caught, not once, but many times eating box elder bugs- EWWW! Such curious little beings. Sounds like he thought it was yummy anyhow!

Oh gag! I probably would have fainted! Thankfully Flower is terrified of bugs. Sometimes it's really annoying because sesame seeds freak her out and it's ridiculous, but at least I'll never have to find bugs in their mouth!!!

Oh how I love that boy! So cute!!! Brooke is currently terrified of bees, so maybe he can eat the ones that she is afraid of :)

EW! I can't believe Fischer has never eaten a bug... he still loves to eat dirt!

What a funny story and the mouse in the pool too. I must admit though I would react much as you did.
