AB Enhancer

I'm really excited about this latest gadget I purchased. It's guaranteed to give me a 6-Pack in seconds! And what's even better, is that you don't have to be a real athlete to get results!

Weddy

Calvin: Mom, I'm toe weddy!
Me: You're wetty?
Calvin: No, I'm WEDDY!
Me: You're ready? Ready for what?
Calvin: No, I'm suh, suh, suh, suh (long pause) WEDDY!
Me: You're sledding?
Calvin: No, I'm suh, suh, suh, suh (another long pause) WEDDY!
Me: Um....
Will: You're sweaty?
Calvin: Nodding. Yah, I'm suh, suh, suh WEDDY!

Glad someone was able to figure it out :)

I love this Goofball!

As hard as Calvin can be, I'm so glad he has such a great and funny personality. I'm pretty sure he's my dad reincarnated. Here is just a little selection of my personal every day with this kid. Always in costume of some sort, and very determined to wear what he is going to wear.

Those aren't shades, they are goggles... spidey goggles to be exact, but he's cool like dat!

I always get the giggles when I'm so busy working, that I haven't noticed that Calvin has decked himself out in some sort of gear and I look up and find this...

And nothing beats walking around in dad's boots and almost anything can be a "Towrd" (sword) or a "Dun" (Gun)!

I not uh dorl!

Calvin begged me paint his toe nails. When I get done he says, "I mommy, you Calvin!" And then two seconds later he is trying to wipe it off. It's quick drying polish, and obviously not wiping off. The panic attack sets in as he continues to wipe with zero success. He starts screaming, "I no like it! I not uh dorl! I uh boy! I uh boy mom! I not a dorl!" And Will was worried I was going to turn him gay...

Pee Broccoli

So I'm continually surprised in the things Calvin comes up with to say anymore. Sometimes I think, wow he's getting so smart and other times I just don't know what to think...

Today I was making Calvin's favorite for lunch, a corn dog and broccoli. Lucky for me he's easy. He normally likes to help me put on all the condiments, which is just ketchup for the corn dog and then lemon juice, salt and pepper for the broccoli. He was busy playing, so I went ahead and got it all prepared. So I told him his lunch was ready, but since he didn't see me get it prepared he says, "No mom, pee!"

I said, "What?"

Calvin repeats, "Pee, mom!"

I ask, "You want to go pee?"

"No, mom, pee from da fridge!"

"Pee from the fridge?"

Calvin, "Oh." (Oh means yes, by the way)

Then it dawns on me, "Oh you mean lemon juice?"

Calvin, "Ooohhh."

Luckily, I figured it out, because he tends to get really mad when you don't know what he's saying, but seriously, did he really think I had been putting pee on his broccoli all this time?

Mini Chopper

I know I might be asking for trouble, but I think Calvin needs one of these. How cute is that? Little itty bitty chopper!!!

Mr. Sticky Fingers

So I'm at Albertson's yesterday and I have Calvin in one of those car shopping cars, which he loves. I have now learned the drawback to the car cart, is the fact that the car sits down to the ground where the parents can't see very well anything going on inside the car. I'm all done checking out, and headed out to the parking lot when I look down and notice that Calvin is chewing something. The germaphobe in me immediately thinks "yuck oh no, he's found some kid's ABC gum", so I immediately stop the cart and walk in front and ask him what he's eating. He shows me a mouth full of chocolate and holds up his brand new package of Rollo's that I did not buy. The kid had totally kipped it when we were strolling along. No wonder he was so very happily enjoying his shopping trip. I immediately head back for the registers to pay for what was left of Calvin's treat, we get it in the bag and I turn and look at Calvin, and he's busily opening a Babe Ruth...

The Hay Dance!

Calvin shaking his booty on the hay bales at Grandpa and Grandma Child's. It was hilarious, he was really getting down.
