Tagged!

Ok so I have been tagged a few times now so I guess I better get with the program. Anyhow, so I'm supposed to write 8 things about myself you don't already know. I'm pretty sure this is impossible, because I like Becky, am an open book...

1. I love music. I especially love it live. My idea of a great time is to go kick it anywhere good live music is playing. You'll usually find me front row center dancing away to my heart's desire. I don't prefer to dance alone but I will if I have to. Anyhow, I made it a goal to see several (well a lot more than several) concerts in particular before I had kids. And I am happy to say that I accomplished my goal. I have had some great and extremely memorable experiences and some great seats along the way. My all time favorites experiences were sitting front row center to Josh Groban and also Billy Joel. I also got to meet Josh afterwards, and the only thing I could say was..."I have that shirt too." (He was wearing an Idaho No Udaho shirt).

2. I love to dance. I'm not saying I dance well, but I love to dance. I'm determined to get Will to do Salsa dance lessons with me. I have even had several dreams about being on Dancing with the Stars.

3. I don't know how to tell people no. For those of you reading this, please do not use this fact to your advantage.

4. I usually always have one or two tv shows that I am religious about watching, and sometimes I get overly involved with the characters and have been known to confuse my own reality with theirs. For example, the time Kelly on 90210 thought she was pregnant. I found myself fretting and telling another individual I was worried because my friend thinks she might be pregnant. I did at least immediately realize and admit to my mistake.

5. I am a food snob. And for those of you that don't know what that means, a food snob is someone that does not like Chuck-o-rama, peas n' gravy, liquid mashed potatoes, bologna or stove top stuffing for Thanksgiving. I am not a picky eater either. Generally I really love all food, I just appreciate good homemade cooking and fine dining. I have to blame my mom for this, since I think she is the world's best cook.

6. I'm pee-shy, in otherwords, I have a fear of peeing in public and an even bigger fear of peeing in the outdoors.

7. I love board games. Scrabble and Cranium are my two all time favorites.

8. I am most content being an Indian, and have zero desire to be a chief. You'll never see me running for president or anything of the sort.

I tag Megan, Natalie, and Annie.

I got Bangs...

I did it, and I don't know what possessed me, except I keep seeing all these celebs with great hair and bangs. At the time it seemed, like a great idea, but now that I've had them a week, I remembered why I grew them out in the first place. a. I have thick heavy hair, making thick heavy bangs. b. I draw for a living, and I can't stand to be working with hair in my eyes, so I pin them back everyday and then you can imagine what it looks like then. c. This picture is the only day since I've had them that they were done.

I went ahead and added a pic of what I now look like on a daily basis.

Tribute to my Heath

Sadly, it has been confirmed that my actor boyfriend has passed away. (Will knows about my onscreen affair, and it's ok because he has a thing for Angelina. I told him its only fair that Angelina dies now.) I'm devastated. I have stayed true to him, ever since Ten Things I Hate About You. I didn't even get too offended when he denied me as a friend on myspace. We all must spend the rest of the day in mourning now. Thank you to all my girls that have offered me their condolences.

Disappointing Dance Wars

I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed with the new show, Dance Wars. It's like watching a very bad musical. I was so excited for it too after watching their dance only performances on Dancing with the Stars, which was similar to watching the dance offs on Stomp the Yard. I told everyone about it, and how this was going to be the best dance show ever. Boy, am I eating my words. I guess I should have realized that you can't get amazing dancing and singing together. I would rather it just be dance offs so I can relive Girls Just Want to Have Fun over and over again.

Happy Clapper, First Steps and Some Words (I think.)

Calvin loves to clap, and has been doing it a lot lately. He will clap at everything. So last night I was nursing him to sleep. I had thought he was pretty much out. He had been totally still for about 10 minutes, eyes closed, but still kind of sucking and all of the sudden just starts clapping. Eyes pop open and he sits right up, happy and clapping. So of course I had to let him stay up a little longer for being so funny. Then this morning he also woke up clapping. He must have been clapping in his dreams. That's my happy little clapper!

Calvin is also trying really hard to walk. Today over and over again he would take a step or two and then fall down. He turns 9 months on Wednesday, we'll see if he is full on walking by then.

Also on a happy note for me his first words are pretty much mama. He says it over and over again like mammamammamma, mostly he says it when he's mad at me like when I'm changing his diaper. So he might be actually swearing at me, but I don't care I'll take it any way he will say it.

Favorite Toy

My friend Kirsten brought over this piano for Calvin. He loves it! It far surpasses any other toy he owns. It's so cute to watch him play with it because he'll turn it on and totally dance. Then stop and clap, then dance some more.

Meeting Puppy

Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Scott brought over their new giant puppy to meet Calvin. He's not so sure about it...

Our Little Girl...

The other day my niece came over to borrow my wig, and put it on Calvin to see how he looked in it. As you can see he hated being a girl, but he doesn't look half bad.

My Growing Boy!

Every time Calvin goes up a size in diapers I get sad. The other day I was going through his things and found the newborn diaper I saved, and I got really sad. I can't believe how much and how fast he has grown!

Once there was a Snowman...

I was so excited that there was finally enough snow that stuck for Calvin to play in. Once again, he was not as excited as I was. I thought for sure he would love his snowman friend I built for him, but this is the only smile I got from him and it lasted all of 10 seconds.
