Boo at the Zoo

Ok so it's Thanksgiving and I'm just getting to the Halloween stuff, but here we go. The week before Halloween, we took Calvin to Boo at the Zoo. It's such a fun event for kids. Besides being able to see the animals, they can trick or treat, there are all sorts of food venues, blow up jumpies, costume contests and lots of other freebies. My little wild thing loved it!

It took Calvin a bit to catch on to the trick or treating thing, he kept trying to hand out his treats instead of getting new treats.

This is Calvin at the costume contest, it was hilarious because he is standing on a stage, and just like a true Max would, Calvin growled then jumped off the stage. We have no idea if he won or placed in the costume contest because it was so packed it took forever to see all the kids, and by that time Calvin had lost patience. We did however see some incredible costumes including the entire cast of Peter Pan. Some family had every character covered, they must have had grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins. It was pretty incredible.

And best of all, the giraffes were finally out of their garages!
