So I'm at Albertson's yesterday and I have Calvin in one of those car shopping cars, which he loves. I have now learned the drawback to the car cart, is the fact that the car sits down to the ground where the parents can't see very well anything going on inside the car. I'm all done checking out, and headed out to the parking lot when I look down and notice that Calvin is chewing something. The germaphobe in me immediately thinks "yuck oh no, he's found some kid's ABC gum", so I immediately stop the cart and walk in front and ask him what he's eating. He shows me a mouth full of chocolate and holds up his brand new package of Rollo's that I did not buy. The kid had totally kipped it when we were strolling along. No wonder he was so very happily enjoying his shopping trip. I immediately head back for the registers to pay for what was left of Calvin's treat, we get it in the bag and I turn and look at Calvin, and he's busily opening a Babe Ruth...

That is great Rani! I no longer feel alone. It reminds me of when Aspen stole a young women values chapstick, a ctr ring, and a pendant from Deseret Book. I was mortified! The joys of parenting uh? It only gets worse, watch out!

HAHAHAH! Fischer did the EXACT same thing in the little car cart with rollos!!! I think he just busily ate them while we were in the check out line! Except, he was younger and couldn't open them... so he was eating the paper and foil too. I LOVE that Calvin moved on the the candy bar while you were paying. He's savvy!
OMG Ruby did the same thing, except she emptied a couple boxes of candy bars before someone one checkout aisle over started laughing. I seriously can not believe his drawings...he is gifted I tell you...gifted.
