Mine weren't either? Sad, but remember we are now the minorities.

I had the exact same thought the second I saw it, so annoying. I don't even think the older girl is white, so actually our race wasn't represented at all. I am totally sending an email too.

You should be a shame of yourselves. These children are beautiful no matter what color skin they have.

Children do not know race, we as their parents teach it to them.

I am an african american women and my husband is German. Our son has green eyes and white skin. All he knows is that he is beautiful and that we love him unconditionally.

As Parents we need to do better for our children, whom are the future.

Tanya -- If you read my next post, I did mention how cute those kids were. I and my friends that commented are merely making the point that GAP chose only one race for winners of the competition this year. America is a beautiful melting pot of races, and it would have been nice if GAP featured winners from more than one race. I'll be the first one to say how beautiful a person is no matter what race they are. I am a huge fan of America's Next Top Model, and typically I'm rooting for a girl not of my same ethniticy. Hands down it is typically is the African-German-Chinese girl that is usually the most beautiful, and I'm sure your son is absolutely stunning. He sounds like it. Please don't take offense to us sharing our feelings, for other races not being included in winning the competetion. It does not mean we are racist, I think it means quite the opposite. We just wanted GAP to feature more than one.
