I might be a little psycho obsessed with him...

So I'm wondering if I'm the only mother this way, or if this is totally normal. But, I'm obsessed with my son and I think everything he does is cute. As he sat in Nursery by himself, (no longer caring if I am there or not ). I couldn't quit watching him through the little window. I was dying as he sat so obediently in his little chair, like a big boy, and drank out of his little cup, and ate his little snack. I really imagined that as soon as I left the room that he would be walking across the tables with the nursery leaders painstakingly trying to corral him. But no, he sat there like a good boy and did everything he was told. It took everything in my power to refrain from running in there and molesting him with a big giant kiss. I'm sure the nursery leaders already thought I was weird enough, being that my face was stuck to the window. I want so badly to be called to Nursery just so I can watch him learn the songs and listen to the little lesson. Everyone says, "Oh, aren't you so glad he is finally in nursery?" Um, yes and no... glad that he is having fun, but sad I can't join him. I'm having a hard time letting go. I'm reminded now of a family in my ward growing up, and how the mom went with her daughter to EFY, just so she could fix her hair. I hope that's not me...

I definitely know what you mean by obsessed, but I just keep thinking the older they get the less and less you get to be with them.... so take advantage of all the big fat kisses you get to lay on him in public and all of the "spying" that you get to do... because it won't be too long before that really IS weird!

I love the picture and even though I'm not a mother I think it's perfectly fine to be obsessed with your son. He's lucky to have such an affectionate mom. :)

um okay, you might be close to the efy lady! jk! I was like that at the nursery in the hospital. I was just starting through the glass at my new little baby and I think all the nurses where like, you ok? No, you are cute and you are a wonderful mom. I have done that through the nursery window too. But I agree, you need a girls trip! ha ha
